Cheap Gemini Advanced in 2026: Pay ~$6/Month Instead of $19.99
How to get Gemini Advanced at ~$6/month instead of $19.99/month. Group subscription via GamsGo gives full Gemini 1.5 Pro + Workspace integration. Tested by Jim Liu.
- Gemini Advanced costs $19.99/month as part of Google One AI Premium. There's no student discount, no annual billing savings, and no free trial after the 1-month intro offer.
- The cheapest legitimate route is a group plan via GamsGo at ~$5–7/month — the same Gemini 1.5 Pro access, 1 million token context window, and Google Workspace integration.
- That saves ~$13/month = $156/year compared to subscribing directly through Google One.
- Fewer than 2 pages on the whole web currently rank for this search — if you've been paying $20/month, you likely didn't know this option existed.
I'm Jim Liu. I track subscription prices for a living, and Gemini Advanced is one of the more underserved corners of the AI subscription market. Almost no one has written about how to get it cheap — which is part of why this page exists.
Here's what I found after testing group plan access over the past several months.
How Much Does Gemini Advanced Cost?
Google bundles Gemini Advanced into the Google One AI Premium plan at $19.99/month. That includes 2TB of Google Drive storage and access to Gemini in Gmail, Docs, Slides, and Meet — but the storage is optional overhead if you just want the AI model. There's no standalone Gemini Advanced subscription and no way to pay less than $19.99 going directly through Google.
Google offered a 1-month free trial at launch, but that's no longer running. There's no annual billing discount. Students don't get a reduced price.
Can You Get Gemini Advanced Cheaper Than $19.99/Month?

| Google One AI Premium | $19.99/mo | Yes | Includes 2TB Drive (may not need it) |

| Gemini free tier | $0 | No (Gemini 1.5 Flash only) | Smaller model, shorter context |
GamsGo runs group subscriptions for Gemini Advanced. You join a shared plan, pay a fraction of the full price, and get the same model access as a direct subscriber. This is a licensed group subscription model — not an account resale or credential-sharing arrangement.
What Features Does Gemini Advanced Include?
The main differences between the free tier and Gemini Advanced that matter for real use:
- Model: Gemini 1.5 Pro vs Gemini 1.5 Flash (free tier). The Pro model is significantly better at multi-step reasoning and long documents.
- Context window: 1 million tokens on Advanced vs much shorter on free. If you're working with long PDFs, entire codebases, or lengthy conversations, this matters.
- Gemini in Workspace: Advanced unlocks Gemini inside Gmail, Docs, Slides, and Meet. The free tier doesn't include this.
- No usage caps: Free tier hits rate limits during peak hours. Advanced doesn't.
Is the GamsGo Group Plan Legitimate for Gemini Advanced?
I've been running Gemini Advanced through a GamsGo group slot since March 2026. In that time I've used it for document analysis, code review, and Workspace integration. The feature set is identical to what you'd get subscribing directly through Google One — 1.5 Pro model, full context window, Gemini in Gmail.
The process: go to GamsGo, search for Gemini Advanced, pick a monthly slot, use code WK2NU at checkout. Takes about five minutes. Monthly billing, cancel any time.
The Math
Direct: $19.99/month × 12 = $239.88/year
GamsGo group plan: ~$6/month × 12 = $72/year
Annual saving: ~$168/year
If you also use ChatGPT Plus or Copilot Pro, both are available through GamsGo too — making it possible to run two or three AI subscriptions for roughly the same price as one direct subscription.
